Here is the 15m-high Christmas tree at the entrance to Ngee Ann City. This seems to be a good place for family portraits as well as quick snapshots (like this one), and it does look magnificent.
According to The Straits Times, the tree is adorned with 1,000 light bulbs, 700 ornaments, and it took 50 people one week to put together. Not very environmentally friendly, but it does draw the shoppers and tourists in, and the kids love all those lights.

It's gorgeous! I love Christmas and trees that are beautifully dressed.

Thanks for your comments guys. My 8 year old daughter took the picture of the Christmas tree. I'll ask her to take some more pics of the lights around Singapore for you.

It's (I think) the same Christmas tree that was set up last year. Yet, this Christmas tree always fascinates me and is indeed a good choice to take pictures at (as a background). I think this is the best Christmas tree one can find along the area of Orchard road. :-)
