Go-Go Bambini has been open less than a year and already it has become an institution with families. There is no doubt that it is the best indoor play area for kids in Singapore, and now it is even better.

Over Christmas the playscape and cafe had a bit of a make-over, and although not obvious when you first walk in, the equipment has had some interesting changes.

The big purple slide is even steeper now, with some scary looking s-bends. This is terrific fun for slightly older kids, and the small slide is still there for the younger kids. I wont give everything away, but there are now a couple of flying-foxes in the playscape, a climbing wall in the ball pit and some rollers to climb through.

The cafe has been repainted and now feels more cosy and warm. There are benches along the wall under the window which makes a more comfortable stay. There are plenty of magazines and UK/Australian newspapers and two computers if you feel like surfing the net while the kids play.

The inhouse nail-spa now offers 'Princess' treatments for the kids (not sure if your little princes get a look in), with a manicure at $5 and a pedicure at $8.

There will be new party packages available soon, so if your child have already had a party here they can have a a different theme second time around. They also have holiday packages, so check out the website for more details.

the toy rental club (Pasir Panjang), though less central, is well worth a look too. A decent sized indoor playground surrounded by toy heaven, and not as frenentic as Go-Go Bambini.

Apart from indoor play and birthday parties, they also have Singapore's largest stock of toys and other child-related stuff for rent. Their website gives a good flavour of what's available.
