As part of the Festival of Puppet and Theatre which starts this weekend, there will be some free performances and workshops at the Forum Mall.

At 1pm on Saturday 10th May there will be a puppet parade when you can watch giant puppets come alive in a lively and colourful procession. Then at 3pm there will be a puppet making workshop, and lastly, at 5pm there will be a preview show of Punch And Judy with Professor Preston and Tony Doyle from Australia.

The actual festival runs from 10-16th May, with theatre groups from Australia, Sweden, Singapore, Taiwan and Ireland performing their own style of puppetry. Ticket are $20 for children and $26 for adults, with a family rate of $80 for 2 adults and 2 children.
