Putumayo Kids is launching a new CD/DVD set, Sesame Street Playground featuring music from around the world. To celebrate the latest in their "Playground" series of CDs, Putumayo Kids will be holding two special events here in Singapore.

Join musicians and storytellers for a fun-filled afternoon which will give children a taste of the lively musical journey through Sesame Street productions.

Time Out, New York
called the CD a "delightful multilingual collection of songs from foreign productions." There are foreign interpretations of classic Sesame Street songs, such as a Chinese Language "Rubber Duckie" and variations on the show’s unforgettable theme (e.g., Holland’s “Sesamstraat”). The 2-disc set includes a CD with 13 fun songs and a DVD with 5 music videos.

If you haven't listened to any of the CDs yet, rest assured they will enchant your children. More than 3 million Putumayo Kids CDs have been sold in nearly 100 countries. Each CD is centred around a country or a style of music, so there is African, Brazilian, Reggae, French, Latin, Asian, and Folk, to name a few. The songs are choosen for their child-friendly lyrics and rhythms and are by both renowned and undiscovered international artists.

Putumayo Kids tests songs in the field with real kids and parents, so they know that children get a lot out of the music. Each CD teaches and inpsires children and allow them to explore different cultures while having fun.
