Here are some photos of the Christmas decorations in The Paragon and Takashimaya on Orchard Road.
I read that the 16 meter tall tree in The Takashimaya atrium is more energy efficient this year, using almost 100,000 light-emittng diode or LED bulbs, instead of the regular fairylights. This will cut power consumption by about 90%. There are also 40 solar panels on the roof to power part of the tree.

Well I guess I can cross worrying about what Christmas decorations to take. :) Looks like they are plentiful.
I love the teddy bear tree!
