The kids had a blast at the Tanglin Mall 'Snow' play last night. I think all kids are curious about snow and I know mine are dying to go somewhere where they can make snow men and throw snowballs at each other (sorry kids). But soap suds are the best we can do in a tropical country, and last night they didn't seem to mind that it wasn't the real thing.

If you do bring your kids along, make sure you bring a towel and either swimmers or a change of clothes. Ben lost one of his crocs in all the suds at one stage, so it's probably a good idea for them to take off shoes before the fun begins.

The 'snow' looked really pretty when it started spraying into the air, and from a distance it did look like snow. The Christmas tree is lovely, and very cleverly decorated purely from recycled plastic bottles. More disappointing are the lights on Orchard Road. This year they are uninspired. The bonbons and sweets are too small to have an effect, and everything looks like it was put together in a hurry. Oh well, we can't have it all.

Oh your kids didn't look disappointed though. Oh well, kids are kids... they can always have under any circumstances unlike us adults... so hard to please. hahahaha. We don't have that much snow here yet [thanks God] unlike last year where we already have 7 inches of snow and it wasn't officially winter yet [at least according to the calendar] This year, most of the snow is inland, we in the coastal areas are just experiencing sprinkles and would melt right away once the sun shines.
