Dot Munro, who turns 100 today, with her 15 great-grandchildren and 2 daughters, Beverley and Glenice.

Still loving life!

We're back in Singapore after an amazing time in Australia. It was so refreshing to reconnect with family and friends. We met up with people we haven't seen for years, and made some new friends along the way. We had lazy days at the beach, a wonderful bushwalk at Wentworth Falls, a ferry ride to Palm Beach, a little shopping, and of course lots of delicious fresh food and champagne.

The kids spent most of their days playing with their 5 cousins, either in my mother's fairy-like garden in the Blue Mountains (yes, they believe in fairies and actually made a special garden for the fairies who left them a little gift to say thank you) or at the beach. The TV and computer weren't missed, and they were up late every night just playing.

Of course the highlight was Granny Dot's 100th Birthday celebration. Just looking over the pictures now brings tears to my eyes. What an amazing woman! I had to include these pictures to show how full of life she still is. She looked amazing and was totally in her element as family and old friends gathered around. Everyone was so happy to be sharing such a special occasion; it was a real thrill to be part of the day.

So I wish everyone a Happy New Year, and hope 20o9 will be a productive, successful and peaceful one for all. This may be our last year in Singapore so I want to make it one to remember; visit all those places that have eluded me and enjoy what Singapore has to offer. I also need to start earning some money, which may mean a little less blogging, or perhaps change things a bit. I have learnt so much this past year, now I need to apply it and find my business hat (it must be there somewhere).

Wow, this granny is really amazing.

Wish you have a great 2009 as well.

Sorry about the calenders. I found it is very difficult to have them printed in Singapore on time. I may need to plan early next year.

Thank you very much for your interest!
