We visited Go-Go Bambini on the weekend and it was buzzing with activity. The lower lever of the playscape has been updated to be more toddler friendly and there are benches with tables along one end so parents and carers can drink their coffee while watching the kids.
There is a new ball blower which is a hit with the little ones. As you can see from the photo the kids can have fun trying to catch the balls that are blown into midair, and it really gets babies' attention. Also great for small children is an interactive light and sound piano and a new baby ball pit. But older kids don't despair, the slides and obstacle courses are still there.
But what I was really impressed with, from an adult's perspective, was the cafe. The menu has been extended, and now includes such items as 100% beef hamburgers which are like the traditional hamburgers you'd get in Australia or New Zealand, with beetroot and salad included, and Go-Go Bambini's homemade tomato sauce.
The cafe was awarded the gold plate award by Singapore Woman's Weekly, and I can see why. The kids' menu includes pasta dishes where kids can not only choose from different sauces, but also from various types of pasta. They are great value at $7.90.
There are also three new party themes, two of which feature popular magic maestro Derek Lee, and the other make use of a mini bouncy castle which is put into the party room. This sounds like wonderful fun!
Check out the revamped Go-Go Bambini website, which looks terrific, and is full of relevant information. There is a parents' page featuring interesting articles, and also a kids' page where kids can post their favourite Go-Go Bambini birthday party photos. Become a Bambini Buddy and recieve a newsletter every month along with special discounts and gifts. The whole family is catered for at Go-Go Bambini, not just the children, which is why it is such a success.
