Don't you love this photo of a couple of good ol' eggs? They are the craziest Easter eggs I've come aross! And I guess they fit into the spirit of Easter being a time of renewal, rebirth, and love of life.

Here is Singapore, Good Friday and Easter Sunday are public holidays ( in Australia and the U.K Easter Monday is also a holiday), although most shops and services will be open for business as usual. It will be a quiet Easter for us, and my kids, I think, will be content with a neighburhood Easter egg hunt.

I have been having trouble finding small chocolate eggs though, the selection in Cold Storage and Market Place is abysmal. Someone did mention Tierney's at Serene Centre and the German Market near Coronation Plaza on Bukit Timah Road as well as the Concourse on Beach Road, so I will try to check these places out tomorrow. If you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them.
