Here is another opportunity to explore the delights of The Asian Civilisation Museum. Free entry and lots of fun activities for the kids all afternoon this Sunday make this number 1 on my list!
The event follows the famous 13th century explorer Marco Polo through Asia, visiting the colourful worlds of China, India and the Middle East with exciting performances, creative workshops and fun kids' craft.
Children can enjoy the taiko (Japanese drums), create a colourful Chinese lantern, or get their face painted like an Indian Kathakali Opera performer. They can also learn traditional ways of making batik cloth, listen to tales from the Arabian Nights or dress up in Exotic Indian outfits.
The ACM always puts on a wonderful event for the whole family so let your kids get a taste of the exotic cultures and tastes that surround us. Kids will also get free icecream and goodie bags.
Free admission from 9am-7pm, activities from 12noon-5pm
